Ensembles & Chamber Music

Music making is meant to be shared

Some of the most rewarding musical experiences come from playing alongside others. Whether performing in a string quartet, singing in a choir, or participating in a community ensemble, musicians develop listening skills, confidence, communication, and lasting friendships through collaborative music-making.

chamber groups for children and adults

At Squam Ridge School of Music, we are committed to fostering opportunities for musicians of all ages and experience levels to learn, perform, and grow together.

Adult Chamber Music

We are happy to help connect interested musicians with others in the community to form chamber groups.

Whether you’re an adult returning to your instrument, an experienced player looking for new musical opportunities, or someone who simply enjoys making music with others, we’d love to hear from you.

Children’s Choir

Our children’s choir program is designed to help young singers develop healthy vocal technique, musicianship, confidence, and the joy of singing together.

Information about our children’s choir can be found here.

Community Ensembles

As our school continues to grow, we hope to develop additional ensemble opportunities serving musicians throughout the Lakes Region and White Mountains.

Future programs may include:

  • Community String Orchestra
  • Adult Beginning Strings
  • Youth Chamber Music
  • Children’s Choir
  • Adult Choir
  • Youth Orchestra
  • Summer Chamber Music Workshops

These programs will be developed in response to community interest and available participation.

Help Us Build Our Musical Community

Many of our future programs will grow directly from the interests of our community.

If there is an ensemble, choir, chamber group, or musical program you’d like to participate in, we’d love to hear from you.

By joining an interest list, you’ll be among the first to know when new opportunities become available, and your interest helps us determine which programs to develop first.
