Foundation Summer String Camp

Introduce your child to the exciting world of string instruments! In this fun and engaging beginner music day camp, students can choose to learn the violin, viola, or cello while building a strong musical foundation through games, creativity, movement, and ensemble playing.

Designed for children with little or no prior experience, this camp helps young musicians develop confidence, rhythm, listening skills, and teamwork in a supportive environment. Students will receive hands-on instruction from experienced teachers while making music with new friends.

The Foundation Summer String Camp schedule also overlaps with the Ridgeline Summer String Camp, providing opportunities for mentorship by the older students, to help the younger students along. This creates a sense of community, friendship, teamwork, responsibility, and builds trust among the students.

Don’t own an instrument? No problem! Violin, viola, and cello rentals are available, making it easy for every child to participate.

Whether your child dreams of joining a youth orchestra or simply wants to explore music for the first time, this beginner string camp is the perfect place to start.
