Welcome to the Policies Page!

This page contains the general information and policies of Squam Ridge School of Music. Tuition, calendar, and specific information for each program is listed on the individual program pages. These policies apply to all programs that are offered.

Tuition for each program is listed on the individual program page.

After we receive and verify your enrollment, we will provide you with an invoice and instructions and options for payment based on how you filled out your form. Enrollment is considered complete once payment has been received. You will receive a receipt for your payment and information about beginning your class or lessons.

If you have questions about tuition or would like to discuss payment arrangements, please contact us before the start of your program.

Accepted payment methods:

  • Cash
  • Check
  • Venmo
  • Credit Card (through stripe or PayPal)
  • Wise
  • ClassWallet (NH Education Scholarship Fund)

Payments made through third-party payment processors are subject to a 3% processing fee. This fee is not charged for payments made by cash, check, or other fee-free payment methods.

Attendance

Regular attendance is important to each student’s musical development and contributes to a positive experience for the entire class.

Each program consists of a predetermined number of class meetings or lessons. Program dates and schedules are listed on the individual program pages.

Because each class builds upon previous meetings, students are encouraged to attend every session whenever possible. If a student must be absent, we appreciate advance notice whenever possible.

Weather Cancellations

In the event of inclement weather, Squam Ridge School of Music follows the decisions of the Interlakes school district regarding cancellations.

If a class or lesson is canceled due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances, families will be notified as soon as possible. Information regarding make-up classes or lessons will be communicated directly to enrolled students and families.

Withdrawals & Refunds

Students who need to withdraw from a program should notify Squam Ridge School of Music as soon as possible.

Refund policies may vary depending on the timing of the withdrawal and the nature of the program. Any program-specific refund policies will be listed on the individual program page.

Communication

Email is our primary method of communication with students and families. Important announcements, reminders, schedule changes, weather cancellations, and make-up information will be sent using the contact information provided during enrollment.

You can also see our Facebook page for announcements regarding cancellations.
